This year, 2010 brings a lot of memories for me personally. Since the beginning of the year after I came back from India for a family vacation and I found out this year isn't same as previous years. Too many incidents, let it be good or bad.
I had sprained my right leg after a fustal game and because of that I missed my first KDL (Kuching Debate League) of this year. Awesome isn't it? *sarcastically*
A special thanks to my friends who helped me and motivated me when people gave me a weirdo look at me for the way I walked to my class. I felt annoyed at that time and I realised how handicap people would feel too. It was a great realisation for me!
Student life has its own ups and downs yet its always interesting. Especially in debate club (UDS - Unimas Debating Society) and coursemates (Electronic and Telecommunication) too many funs! Of course, there are times where people would make me mad for their behaviour. I would prefer to ignore them and just move on. Thats me. I just follow my mood flow. But there are my true friends that I don't wish to lose no matter what happens. I would give in for them. :)
Another awesome thing happened to me when I moved on from my past. It was horrible and I would say it was a nightmare where kids would get scare of boogy man. Moving on ain't an easy stuff and it depends on individual. For me, it took me almost 1 and half years to get myself out of the hell. I don't wish to recall it and I'm happy with my life now! I appreciate myself more and I can sleep well in the night. No more tears on my pillow. People noticed the happiness on my face and no more eye-bags a.k.a panda eyes! hahaha :D At last, my genuine smile back on my face. :)
Oh yeah, my life started to be more interesting as I enrolled for third year for my undergraduate studies on July 2010. hehehe :D Well, it could be a reason for me to move on quite fast than I thought. :) Let it be a secret. People may appear to us as happiness but people do have their own mood swing due to many factors and thats when the confilcts occur. Let it be in family, relationship, siblings, colleagues or friends. Giving in doesn't mean you are no longer awesome, its just that you are putting yourself at a higher place. :)
In September 2010, I met my high school friend, Miss Sharm face-to-face after 4 years keeping touch via electronic devices (emails, FB, phone calls and SMS). She was back to her home from UK for summer break and I was at home too for my Eid al-Fitr break. We met up at KTM station and we had this awkward silent for a moment then we hugged each other. We chatted all the way to Pavilion KL and watched a movie. It was a great moment for us. All the best to Miss Sharm! Love ya!<3 :)
Then, I had trained for Yayasan Sarawak Debate World Class Championship. Interesting being in a same team with Mr.M and Miss. N. They are awesome! We never been in a same team and it was my first time to be with them. We won for First-Runner Up! cool! My tears dropped for the victory. Well, at times I can be a bit emotional. hahaha :D
Life journey continued with projects, assignments and assessments! Oh yeah, I almost forgot to say that I took Japanese language as my complimentary subject! Learning a new language is always fun but not when I'm really packed with too many activities. Including being as a JPK for my college where I'm incharged to arrange activities for my college students. Well, life just moves on. As usual, I did my works at last minute and had sleepless nights. Regretted but will I changed? hahaha :D hopefully, I will. :)
Festival is the best medium to get back with your family though it is a custom. I do celebrate Deepavali and it was an opportunity for me to get back with my family for that beautiful day. Then I got myself into stress for my semester exam. Finally, exam was over! and I did pretty bad for my papers. I learnt a lesson : never study last minute! time management is important and thats what my dad always remind me. :)
Then in early December of this year, I went for MADUM centralised debate training (BP style) at IIUM, Gombak. Met best debaters of world championship. Had great experience and gained knowledge. Moreover, had a chance to meet new people especially from different universities. Made few friends from the event. :)
And the last event of this year is Royals Debate at UTHM, Batu Pahat Johor. This event is one of the greatest moments in my life. I was in a same team with Miss T and Mr.KS. We broke to quater-final! I didn't put high hope on that actually but yeah we broke to! hahaha... I can't express my happiness and I'm really happy for me, my trainer and my fellow debaters! Then we didn't make into semi-final. Sad. But we gave a good fight! I'm glad to be in a same team with Miss T and Mr.KS!<3 :)
Interesting journey for this year . :)
